Arrival at RVHR on 01/21/04 – Past away on 2/4/04
RVHR would like to thank each of you who called, emailed, and made donations in an attempt to help Junam with her fight battling starvation and infections.  We would also like to thank the two vets who assisted here at our facility along with with many loving and caring staff members and volunteers.  We regrettably announce that on Wednesday morning Junam lied down for one last time and past on very quietly in a peaceful sleep.Please remember that together with your support we can make a difference in
horse’s life…even if for just a short time.  Although it is our ultimate goal for which we strive, we’ve always known and said we may not be able to save every horse that comes to us Unfortunately, some have already given up on themselves or are neglected past the point of recovery.  These are perhaps the most frustrating cases.  The ones we know could have been prevented. Junam past on knowing that she was loved and cared for dearly and that in itself made every moment we spent with her, entirely worth it.
