Volunteer Program 2010

Volunteers can help work on fencing, buildings, fields and other rescue projects at RVHR. It's a rewarding experience, a great way to meet others, and the horses are great motivators! Come out and join us!

Our Volunteer program is open to anyone over the age of 18. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 at all times .

Most of our New volunteer will start with helping around the facility from cleaning stalls and paddock to helping to clear land of trees and rocks and Installing fencing. We never know what project we might working on when you come to volunteer.

Volunteers are welcome to spend Monday thru Friday 5Pm to 9Pm and Saturdays 9 am to 9pm.  3 hour visits are recommended for Children under 14. Please take a moment to fill out the RVHR Volunteer Application

Please note for the safety of the volunteer and the horses here in our care RVHR doesn't allow new volunteers in with the horses at anytime. There is no horse back riding at the RVHR Facility. Grooming and care of the horses is handled by staff and qualified volunteer who have been assisting here at the facility for sometime.
